A really fun movie, I watched this recently. It might be from the 1990s, but it was hella fun to watch with a decent story, and I'm not someone who really cares for sports, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
One of my all time favorite Sandler films and not only that, one of my all-time favorite films. Loved the writing and actors. Very irreverent toward religion but also at the same time some things make sense. Overall classic.
It felt like a bit of a time warp watching this movie and seeing Ben Stiler in this, he looks so damn young, but he did a decent job as the dictatorial leader of the camp and his insanity in making the kids lose weight.
Not as good as some of his other movies. Sandler played a immature man a lot of times already. Sure, at the end he's learned some lessons and stuff but at this point it was getting a bit old, eh? Still, not without its funny parts.
