- Mary Williams has lived in Cornwall since 1947, at one time writing a column for the St Ives Times. She has always had an affinity with Celtic lands ... especially being a lover of sea and mountains. She wrote and illustrated children's programmes for BBC Wales for six years and has subsequently concentrated on writing interspersed with occaisional art exhibitions, She has written plays for theatre and television and writes historical fiction under the name of Marianne Harvey, and is the author of The Dark Horseman, The Proud Hunter, Foxgate, and Thunderspell.
