I did not like this book because it was long and confusing. Some parts of the story didn't seem to fit or felt out of place. For example, I did not see the point of all the tasks the brothers had to do. The outcome of the tasks didn't seem to have anything to do with the storyline. The only part of the story I liked was how descriptive the language was. I had an easy time visualizing the events. For example, when the author was describing the Firebird, " A firebird began to visit the garden show more of Tsar Vyslav; her wings were golden and her eyes were like oriental crystal." I didn't understand the main message. The younger brother in the story stole and tricked different kings to get what he wants. So i thought the main message of the story was to lie and trick people to get what you want. show less
Sorry, this did absolutely nothing for me. A series of poems about brownies or some-such, sing-songy fluff with no import. Nothing truly offensive I guess, and the name of the title dwarf is catchy, but, no. Maybe too much was lost in translation.
I like the story . Alissa is an honest girl and that's make her going to a new home and she have good life because she not lie and this is good :)

nice story because it knows the honesty
A poor man was walking along the road. He was very hungry. He went to a house and knocked on the door. An old woman opened the door.
