This is a great little book - it's not intended to be a step by step book to walk you through how to do things in life or anything like that. It's a corny, silly, powerful, and important book for everyone who is doing things in life or wants to do things. Those who want to make life happen, rather than let life happen to them!
It really is a must read, and it won't take long - probably less than an hour. But it's all about the mindset of a Rhino vs a cow and there's way too many cows in the show more world. And sure, it's simplistic, and it may be offputting to a cow - who would rather just graze peacefully in the pasture and watch TV. They probably won't want to charge like a rhino anyway.
But if you are a cow with an inner rhino which is supposed to be getting out, then this is a great book for you! It's easy to be lulled to sleep - sometimes something needs to poke you with a sharp stick to get you moving again. It can be this book if you let it! And if it's not for you, it's ok to go back to sleep. Just remember to stay out of the way of the rhinos - they might run you over if you're not careful. :) show less

A good premise, poorly executed.
It's fun, even silly, which is fine. In fact, that's all it has going for it really. But it has nearly zero depth. It's incredibly short, but still far too long. Rip out the copious fluff forcibly added to make it into a book and tone down the religiosity which adds nothing (and comes across, to be frank, more than a bit creepy) and this becomes a 5 to 10 page solid essay. I suspect the follow-on books add some depth, but after this... I'm just not going to show more waste my time. show less
