Max is a monster. He introduces us to lots of his friends. We want to know if Max and his monster friends wear undies. Do they? How do we find out?

I enjoyed this story. I chuckled as I read. I liked the different monsters. I liked that they were described as were their undies. Just as there were different monsters, so there are different undies. This is a fun read for you and your toddler.
This is a fun rhyming book to read with your child. While reading your child can try to find the worm that hides in each picture. They can try to identify the different foods each of the monsters like to eat. Depending on how you read to your child, you can probably get the "ooo gross" remark from them. I'm glad I'm not a monster because I don't think I'd like pizza with octopus on top, or chocolate covered fish. On the educational side of this it is a way of opening a conversation about show more healthy eating. As always Mark has done a great job of intertaining kids while educating them as well.
I received a copy to facilitate my review. The opinions expressed here are my own.

This is a comprehensive, extremely useful, and attractive guide to the hundreds of fishes, native and introduced, that can be found in the state of Ohio. Each entry has two pages, including at least one profile photo of the subject (taken live in a tank), a map showing its distribution, and detailed information on its habitat and habits. Its a very well prepared book that has been eagerly awaited by Ohio's naturalist community.
Sally is a little girl who loves her hair. But, like all little girls she wonders what it would be like to have hair made from other things, thing we would not necessarily think of. She imagines her hair made of rain drops, bubbles, clouds, candy, grass, spaghetti and much more. This is a fun book full of imagination. This is a book that I can read with my grand-daughter and then see if we can come up with other things that hair could be made of. We need more books like this to get kids to show more use their imagination. show less
