Who doesn't love Mister Rogers? Oh how I have fallen more in love with this man...more than when I was a child. There is so much wisdom and character building to be found in this simple book. It's more vignettes than a story. But that's alright. I kind of want to buy everyone a copy!

This is a book that I recently purchased for myself and have loved getting to read. I grew up with Mister Rogers on my TV and learned some valuable lessons from him. This book is a perfect reminder for me to practice kindness, self-care, and empathy. This little book offers many life lessons and wisdom through the words of Mister Rogers himself. This is something I can read over and over throughout my life when I need a little inspiration or motivation.

Quick impressions: This is a very nice book for those who were children during Mr. Rogers' time, or to share with a child and introduce them to the great gentle man who taught us to see the good in life. Book combines anecdotes and quotes from the show chosen by the editor/author (who revisited the shows' episodes) and very nice colorful art.

The book starts with the beginning of the war. The causes like World War I and a man's lust for power. It covers the rise and fall of his regime. As well as all of his allies.It goes through the typical story with World War II. It tells some interesting facts along the way as it does this. The book then ends.

It is your typical World War II book. It delivers common knowledge and facts about the war. There is nothing really new with this one other than some small facts. If you need a bunch of show more information on World War II then you should read this book. This will be my last war book to review so i have seen a lot of common things in these books. So that might affect my view on this book. I think it was a fine book. show less
