Short biography
Ineke Willems is vanuit een hang naar verhalen en vertalen, analyseren en communiceren in 2001 begonnen als zelfstandig (boek)vertaler. Met opdrachten die variëren van chicklit en thrillers tot romans van volwassen literaire kwaliteit wil ik mijn vertalerstoonbereik zo breed mogelijk maken en houden. Verder ben ik eigenwijs genoeg om te vinden dat een rapport over de eigenschappen van betonmortel, voedingswaren of grondverzetmachines niet alleen moet kloppen, maar ook leesbaar moet zijn, en dat een opdrachtgever me buiten kantooruren moet kunnen bellen met de prangende vraag hoe je in vredesnaam hachee schrijft
