An odd but enjoyable extremely oversized book with pictures of stuff. A 2-page spread of fruit and vegetables, one of animals, one of historical costume, one of tools, one of human anatomy, one of construction machines... there's something here for almost any child's interests, with a name on the page and extra information in the back. The human anatomy bares all, with naked people and diagrams of human reproductive anatomy, which I think is a big plus. My daughter has strong favorites; the show more fruit is best, then the animals, after that aircraft, and so on, with the tools running dead last right now. show less

I'm a fan of Jolivet's work, and this book can capture us for many minutes - in the life of a two year old, that's hours.
