I don't usually like collections-of-papers books, but this one is pleasantly surprising. To a believer in Gall's Law, many of the proposed architectures seem overengineered, but an upcoming project ought to give me some chance to play with them and see if they're really necessary. Unfortunately, sampling the articles that are closest in subject to my research background makes me downgrade the book a bit, since they seem uneven in both content and writing quality.
