A fax call at 2:00am in the morning begins this cozy that turns out to be more than just a cozy.but rather a suspenseful mystery.

A page turner that I wasn't really expxecting but thoroughly enjoyed! With likeable characters that have developed in this second book of the series.
an enjoyable cozy that could have used a bit of editing for grammar, spelling, and being a bit over-long...
I would have given this book 4 stars if it didn't have so many missing words. Granted I could figure out the missing words, but someone should have read the book before it was released.

FROM AMAZON: Widow Millie Mahoney is a dabbler. She dabbles in all sorts of things: art, writing, politics, and sometimes employment. Unfortunately, nothing captures her attention for long, at least not until she finds herself dabbling in murder.

Millie's mother, Margaret Cisneros is also a widow, but she show more doesn't dabble like her daughter. Instead, she quilts. She’s also the voice of reason with her occasional efforts to keep Millie on track and the dog out of trouble. But even Margaret can't resist going along on this particular shopping trip. show less

A cozy mystery, a senior mother and daughter team who enjoy shopping thrift stores for “treasures” and “adventure”. Snoopiness is engaged when two employees of their favorite thrift store suddenly die, one murdered as the store was robbed.

First book in the series. Light-hearted with mature characters.
