An interesting read, though a bit confusing. It's an old book with phrases from the 1970s and new words I'd never heard of before.
Overall, it's fun reading about the things the English believe in (even if they deny it). Witches, luck, charms, cures, ghosts, supernaturals, everything. For example, never cut your fingernails on Sunday or the Devil will rule you for the week. But you should cut your fingernails on Monday so wealth will come your way.
Decent but to be honest, my brain glanced show more over about half of the book. show less
