4038 Vietnam Shadows The War, Its Ghosts, and Its Legacy, by Arnold R. Isaacs (read 19 June 2005) This is a stunningly good book. The author was war correspondent for the Baltimore Sun in Vietnam from 1972 to 1975. The book has eight excellent chapters on various aspects of the Vietnam war's aftermath. I found this a stunning read, and I gobbled it up and did not want it to end. It is the best book I've ever read on the aftermath to Vietnam.

I haven't read this book in many years, but it's still sitting on the shelf and I remember being very impressed by it. I think I'll refresh my memory a bit and give it another read.
