HUNTER KILLER by Harry McCallion kept my interest from beginning to end. The story takes place in Scotland, and of course, Americans are the culprits in this storyline. Or it could be the rich against everyone else. The main character was Superman in disguise. He managed to come out on top whenever confronting the enemy - even if the odds were ten to one. I was disappointed in coming upon so many typos and the lack of separation between scenes. One event was followed by an entirely different show more one in the next sentence. This went on through the entire story and I found it quite confusing. A good editor can fix this up.

Another thing I didn't care for was the love interest between the main character and a female agent, when pages earlier, he found his wife's murdered body. The ending also left it wide open for a follow-up story. However, this is only my personal opinion.

If you enjoy reading a James Bond-style book where he is on the run in the wooded hills of Scotland and hunted by dozens of ex-military mercenaries who were promised bonuses if they killed him. Then, you'd enjoy this book.
