Helen Norris

Helen Norris is a regional writer that should be known to more readers than she is. I happened across her in an anthology. I bought this book for the title short story, which is the only story that I have read to date. But I will be reading more.

The words that this author use not only tell the story but are a part of the story. It is thoughtful story to read even though the story is sad.

The bonus to this book is that it comes with the made-for-TV movie of the same title starring Jason Robard.

Laura Kendall goes to France to find her deceased son's child. It's a bit of a weak plot, but it was a short and convenient book.
