Wow! Who knew there are so many cool facts about buildings? This book is an awesome informational book about buildings for kids. Starting with the first known building in Mesopotamia, this book takes you around the world. From bridges to tunnels to the Eiffel Tower, this book provides information on a multitude of structures! Each section explains the history, the engineers, and science behind different buildings and structures. One thing that I love about this book is that it provides show more information on using different building materials such as mud, wood, and even ice! This book includes different cultures from around the world. They also include a fun page about architectural failures. I would recommend this book to any elementary or middle school student interested in architecture, engineering, design, science, or even interested about different cities and cultures. This book would be great to use in a lesson about careers or even a lesson about construction! This book is jam packed with information and colorful pictures/infographics! show less
