Use for grades K-3. Children will enjoy working together to read and being able to act out what they are reading. This book is a compilation of twelve fairy tales that are a little less frequently heard compared to "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty." They are written as plays. Addresses fairy tales, fantasy, acting. In the classroom, use for reader's theater and/or actual plays. Most of the plays are written for about 15 people, so split the class in half and have each group work on a show more different play. Can be used throughout the year to develop fluency and confidence in reading aloud. show less
