About the Author
Robert Paris Riger was a publisher and author. He started his career at Book-of-the-Month Club rising from an assistant to managing its main clubs. He left BOMC to become president of the Doubleday Book Club. In 1990, he co-founded Market Partners International, one of the first publishing show more consulting firms. While working for Jim Henson Productions, he co-authored, with Kermit the Frog, the book One Frog Can Make a Difference: Kermit's Guide to Life in the 90s. He later worked for Penguin Press, SubRights.com, Barnes and Noble, and Simon and Schuster. He died of complications from the flu on January 26, 2018 at the age of 57.
