Norfolk & Western in the Appalachians: From the Blue Ridge to the Big Sandy (Golden Year of Railroading Series) by Ed King
Good photography. Enough story to provide the context. Every time I read a book like this I miss not being able to have seen steam in its glory years, and how lacking my photography skills are.
