About the Author
Henry Rosemont, Jr. is a philosopher, who has written A Chinese Mirror, Rationality and Religious Experience, and, with Huston Smith, Is There a Universal Grammar of Religion? With Roger Ames he has translated The Analects of Confucius and The Chinese Classic of Family Reverence, and with Daniel show more Cook, Leibniz: Writings on China. He has edited several other volumes, including Explorations in Chinese Cosmology and Chinese Texts and Philosophical Contexts. He has taught at St. Mary's College of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and Fudan University in Shanghai. During the past decade he has held various appointments in the Department of Religious Studies at Brown University, where he is currently Visiting Scholar. show less
