Anne Swithinbank

Anne Swithinbank trained at Kew Gardens and enjoyed full-time professional gardening until broadcasting and writing gradually took over. For six years she was a regular presenter on Gardeners' World. Her other television series include Bloom and Gardens of the Caribbean. She currently writes a show more weekly column in Amateur Gardening, has a monthly house plant spot in Gardeners' World Magazine and makes regular appearances as a panellist on Gardeners' Question Time. She has written six books including The Conservatory Gardener (Frances Lincoln, 1993).
