Jesse David Jennings (1909–1997)

This compilation by noted archaeologists will long have an impact on American archaeology. Jesse Jennings, worked with Kaminaljuyu in Guatemala, is a founder of Great Basin archaeology and professor of anthropology for more than forty years. He is also founder and director of the Utah Museum of Natural History, director of the Glen Canyon salvage team and led such famous excavations as Danger, Hogup, and Cowboy caves.
