A wonderful series of ten episodes, continuing the up-and-down rekindled romance of two people in their fifties who were lovers thirty years earlier. Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer are superb as Jean and Lionel, with excellent chemistry and impeccable timing. Well supported by a cast of great actors.

Produced in the 1990s, this has realism, poignancy, characterisation, and some moments of real humour. Very highly recommended, though it's best to have seen the first two series of this show more beforehand.

The Right Honorable James Hacker has landed the plum job of Cabinet Minister to the Department of Administration. At last he is in a position of power and can carry out some long-needed reforms, or so he thinks.
An outstanding work of British Commedy!! I have watched many times on PBS and finally decided to purchase when the price was discounted. I will definitely watch each episode many times in the future.
