Our family is of Welsh heritage and we started learning these folksongs because we loved the music.
Michael Raven did an outstanding job arranging them for the guitar. Many of them were originally composed on the harp, but I'm sure they were played by the prior generations on other instruments, as modern musicians do.

A massive collection of mainly English folk and dance tunes. Includes a section of tunes composed by Raven himself. Many tunes I never saw elsewhere - quirky and fascinating - I wouldn't be without it...
