Ida Rigney Migliario, editor of The Household Magazine was born in Zeandale, Kansas, June 8, 1888, daughter of Isaac Newton and Elizabeth (Hensley) Rigney. Her father who was born May 1, 1850 died at Manhattan, December 29, 1926. Her mother was born March 2, 1853 and is still living.
Ida Rigney attended public school and in 1909 was graduated from Kansas State College with the degree of Bachelor of Science. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Omricron Nu, and Theta Sigma Pi.
Mrs. Migliario has served as dietitian at Ensworth Hospital in St. Joseph, as supervisor of home economics in the Wichita Public Schools, and was instructor in home economics at Kansas State College. She has gained prominence as a journalist during the past several years and is now associated with the Capper Publications. She is a Republican. Residence: Topeka.
