This book is AMAZING for anyone who is inspired by amazing redstone builds and just don't know how to do it! I went from pulling a lever to TNT to building automatic doors! So if you want to learn redstone from the basics, this is for you!
A 3D adventure game that requires players to gather supplies and items to help survive in a dangerous and expansive world. Minecraft is a bit like a computerized version of LEGOs with unlimited possibilities, allowing for infinite creativity and discovery. In "Survival Mode" players must escape dangers like creepers, zombies and starvation to gain experience and explore the vast world. In "Creative Mode" players have the opportunity to build with a supply of every type of block in the game. show more Of the two, I preferred "Creative Mode" and enjoyed building for hours, but "Survival Mode" was also fun and surprisingly challenging. I can see why it's easy for children to get lost in this game, and like that it promotes creativity, logic, and even survival skills (sort of). show less
This is actually a pretty good breakdown short of a step by step walk through. The ideas are great and I think anyone could work up to some of the harder pieces inside and does a good job at making room to let you customize it into your own creation. Only reason its not a 5 star is the small gaps that sometimes pop up and leave you having to figure out how to piece it in. Overall i think its my favorite of the builds books

Minecraft is an application of the popular PC version of the game. Players use a cubed character to create their own personal worlds by collecting resources and building with blocks. The app offers two versions, allowing the player to tailor the experience. The traditional version has the player build during the day and defend his creations at night, while the creative mode removes the threat of the mild attacks of zombies at night. In addition to its creative possibilities, players can join show more each other’s games via wifi, encouraging collaboration. Because players start with a blank slate, this game inspires creativity and problem solving. Kids both young and old love to play this app! show less
