Well-written and very sexy. Definitely on the steamy side, so be prepared, but I was also impressed by the characterizations. Considering the short length of this story, the author managed to develop everything in this whirlwind romance really well.

At the Cowboy’s Mercy needs a warning label “Please Beware if you are attracted to Possessive, Hot, and Mouth Watering Cowboys! People with heart trouble may want to avoid proceeding if you are concerned about an increase in your heart rate. If you find yourself with hot flashes rapid heart rate please seek a cold shower immediately!”

This story was so very hot! Kennedy and Luke produces sparks hot enough to burn, but it is accompanied by a romance that I felt was slightly lacking in show more substance. After years of lusting after one another this is a friction filled short story, but I wish that the relationship was stronger. There was also the aspect of the blundered past that doesn’t seem to be fully resolved at any point. While it is overcome and forgiven it is no resolved, and I felt that it hindered the relationship growth. Regardless, the obvious basis of this novel is the sexual aspect of the couple which is quite effective displayed and previewed throughout the story. If you are looking for a easy going love story, and heat inducing sexual content this is definitely a read for you.

Oh My God! If you want a hot read, look no further! This one will have you sizzling where you sit. Most of these authors, I had read something of theirs in the past. Erzabet Bishop, Emma Jay, and Elle James are frequent go to authors, the others were new. Yep, I have more new faves now. You will get sucked in with the first story and it does not let up. All you can do is white knuckle that Kindle and hang on for the ride. If this anthology doesn’t get your blood pumping in all the right show more places, check to make sure you still have a pulse. show less
A typical romance, but a good page-turner nonetheless. The story speaks of a widow, deprived of male companionship, and her need to adjust to ranch life. If you're ever in need of a saucy read, this book will do just fine. The endign could have been worked on a bit more, and if the book had been a little longer, I think it would have done even better. As it was, though, it was not a disappointing read.
