Solid. It teaches the opening through sample games of questionable accuracy, which makes it hard to know these days how useful it is, but the general idea seems simple and I left curious to see how it plays which is pretty much the goal of any opening book. Really appreciated the movelist at the end with tags back to pages, I feel like that will make the book way way more useful when I play the opening and want to refer back to sections.
A rather entertaining collection of interviews. To round out each chapter, the players select one of their favorite games from their own oeuvre and one of their all time favorite games. The games aren't annotated in a light and energetic style--very readably without a bog of variations.
