This is the creepiest issue yet, or perhaps it's more accurate to say it's the most disturbing. John Dee has control of the Ruby, and embarks on a sick and twisted plan to try and amuse himself. Graphic violence, but what was worse, I thought, is the way that the small town "innocents" who become involved in Dee's madness were really not the mild-mannered folk they first appeared to be. Each of them had a disturbing skeleton in his or her closet, long before Dee showed up on the scene. This show more was more chilling than all the blood and gore. Disturbing, but really interesting, too.

Oh, ouch. Another brilliant issue, but so heartbreaking! I enjoyed the way this one was told, as a story within a story. I didn't realize that we'd seen Nada before until after I finished reading the story, though. *moans* It adds a new layer of depth to Morpheus' character, and makes me wonder - with just a bit of dread - what might happen in the future.
The conclusion of the "Doll's House" storyline. Morpheus steps in to stop Rose, who has discovered the ability to destroy the barriers between the minds of people dreaming. Apparently, this is a Bad Thing, and the only way Morpheus can stop this from happening is to remove Rose from the picture - by killing her. Unless someone can find another way to solve the problem . . .
This is a great issue, and I liked the resolution for what it was. Again, though, I felt like the story was rushed. show more Perhaps not in terms of what actually happened on the pages, but I could see so many options to expand this fantastic story - all sorts of paths which could have been explored, but weren't, probably because of the format. What a great novel this could have been. I loved it as a graphic novel, but can't help wishing there was more. show less

The Doll's House saga heats up. After a close call in the previous issue, Rose is home again, and discovers that she can do something very interesting in her dreams. I'm really enjoying this storyline, but can't shake the feeling that it's moving along a bit faster than I'd like. This is probably because of the format, but I feel like I want more details than I'm getting. Still, the story is great!
