An interesting insight into the personalities of the individuals who laid much of the foundation to contemporary cardiac surgery. I wish more had been said about the development of cardiac surgery at the mayo - but perhaps that is another book. I also feel that Dudley Johnson deserves a lot of credit for the development of Coronary Artery Surgery (Not to take anything from Rene Favalaro.)
I would say it is of interest to the general public as well as medical professionals.
