Minimally, include all the pups, not an arbitrary smattering, and include sounds for each, not some. Children are often tiny obsessive-compulsives, more so I think than their elders, and also have a fierce sense of fairness, and this book fails on both counts.

My 3 year old loves it but there's only so many times a Mommy can sing the songs while staying sane. It's just songs for each pup set to nursery rhyme tunes.

Boy do they stick in your head.

Remember the old Nick at Nite, when they used to show some great shows, like "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "The Bob Newhart Show," and "Taxi"? This is a book that Nick at Nite came out with back then, which has every episode of these shows listed, as well as others that used to be in their lineup. It also includes facts about each episode. Ironically, when these shows aired, it was for nostalgic reasons, but when I stumbled across this book which I had forgotten I'd had, I found myself show more getting nostalgic for the old Nick at Nite; not just the shows they aired, but the old style that the network had. show less

This is cute for a children's book with activities in it for young Avatar fans. Perhaps not the most durable item, but if handled with care, this book can be played with for a good while.
