Wicked Sinners is not the formulaic dark, brooking supernatural guy meets hapless, social misfit girl that I was expecting. While Parkerson’s plot twists and turns challenged my romantic sensibilities, she weaves them together with talent. The result: a book that I devoured, breathlessly arriving at the end.
At its most basic the plot is guy meets girl, true love ensues. However, unexpectedly tragic events turn this formula on its head. While it took me a while to resign myself to this, show more Parkerson’s engaging characters convinced me that this is the way it should be.
Parkerson weaves her tale with a surprisingly small cast of characters. I adored Adriana, whose impulsiveness and devotedness were enchanting. The description of Julien and Jacques had my heart racing, yet the differences between their personalities are striking. I must confess that it took me a while to warm to the character of Alain and even at the end I was not entirely convinced. But I am looking forward to Parkerson’s next instalments to convince me!
I thoroughly enjoyed Parkerson’s style. It was easy to read and engaging. Her flare for description won me over early. Even though I had not read the first book in the series, I did not find this an issue as ‘Wicked Sinners’ stands very well on its own.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed “Wicked Sinners”. I found it difficult to put down and I look forward to the next instalment. show less

Troy is escorting Belial to a fund raiser for Souls Wanted where he sees Alastor, his Friday night booty call, with another man and thinks Alastor is cheating on him. To get his revenge, he invites Belial up to his place where, unknown to Troy, Alastor is in spirit form to find out what Belial is up to. Alastor and Belial are both Demon Lords and rivals. Knowing that Belial has tricked Troy into signing a form with his deepest wish on it, Alastor is awaiting the outcoming of the trickery. show more Will Alastor be able to help Troy? Will Troy want his help?
I chuckled through this one also. It is short but full of so much humor. I loved that Troy could admit his feelings for Alastor even as he's planning to put Alastor out of his life. I liked knowing that Alastor could read Troy's thoughts. I was also glad that while Troy questioned things, he quickly accepted them. I got my HEA.
I cannot wait to read Belial's story. It promises to be great fun! show less

Being his Favorite was the first strictly erotic fiction story that I downloaded and I must say that it was arousing to read.
Ms. Parkerson's characters were fleshed-out (no pun intended), multi-dimensional beings rather than cardboard cut-outs. The history between the two main characters was explained adding strength to the story. The sex scenes were deliciously arousing, well described and believable. The story was short, the 'action' steamy and the conclusion was a shock to me. I am a show more 'happily-ever-after' ending type of person, but the ending scene for this story worked well and blended beautifully with the story line.
This might have been my 'first-time' but I am sure that it will not be the last erotic tale by Ms. Parkerson that I escape into. show less

I did not read the blurb before starting this book, so was surprised when I hit a HEA only ¼ of the way through, but once I caught on to the interwoven quartet of stories, I was hooked. Author Charity Parkerson, manages to blind side you in each of the tales, with the revelation of secret after secret. Just when you think you know where a story is going, it veers off in a totally different direction.
I laughed, I cried & I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. It is a hard call, which of show more the 4 stories was my favorite, but I’m leaning heavily towards “Sparks” just because the twins Bob & Weave had to work so hard to reach their happily ever afters. show less
