There have been books and movies about bail jumpers and those who bring them back. But Anthony Bruno offers us a chase crew with frailties. Loretta Kovacs is the newest member of this 'Jump Squad' she is on probation with no where to go if she fails. So knowing that she goes undercover at a fat farm, the same one she attended several years prior and hated!

This is a fast read, for me it falls under the category of escapist read.
It took me awhile to (ahem) warm up to the author’s blunt, spartan style but it ultimately became the best way to tell the story of a psychopathic criminal and the efforts to take him down.
Loretta and Marvelli, parole officers from the jump squad set out to prevent his ex-brother-in-law from killing FBI witness in the witness protection program. Plus, a dirty FBI agent is helping the bad guys. All this while Loretta struggles to kick her caffeine addiction.

A fast-paced, multi-action mystery/adventure. Easy to read in one sitting.
This true crime book, is one of the best written books I have ever read. It completely details the police investigation and arrest.
