A truly beautiful production, with all miniatures and historiated initials reproduced in color and in actual size. What I hold in my hand is a composite of components held at the Koninklijke Bibliothek in the Hague and the Getty Museum and includes the superb Madonna and Child of Jean Fouquet, a work that makes me cry that my old eyes are not able to feast on its splendor as once they could.
