What makes this book stand out from the myriad of how-to books is that all of the instructions are illustrated. Although this might seem like a small addition, it is a genius move on the part of the authors. Not only do the drawings provide a much-needed visual tool, they also add a healthy dose of humor and whimsy, two ingredients that are often missing in the dry, pragmatic world of the how-to book genre.

This book is hilarious. The pictures are great and very helpful. I have no idea why you would need to know some of this stuff but I feel smarter after reading it. My only problem with it is that they don't go into enough detail in their instructions. I tried to make my own tortilla chips from their directions and they came out completely black and the ones that didn't weren't crispy at all. They should definately go into more detail.
Great graphics but there is not enough detail included for it to be genuinely instructive. More for fun and eye candy. Good to have around though as an interesting coffee table book or to show kids to inspire them to learn a few useful skills, but would tell them to look up a how-to video online for further reference.
Very entertaining. Not sure how I will come across some of those situations, but hey. Knowledge is power.
