The book's subtitle - getting from Stuck to Success - turns out to be an appendix. While the writing is great and the examples and description of how plateaus occur are detailed and interesting, you don't get to the third section they promise you: The Practical application of their ideas. It is as if they left out one third of the book. A bit disappointing because I enjoyed the rest of it.
