Short biography
Christine M. Butler writes paranormal fantasy books.
She also writes contemporary romance books under the name Christine Michelle.
She writes from her fabulous home tucked away near the southern tip of the Appalachian Mountains on the North Carolina / Georgia border. That means she sees a lot of rainy days to help her focus on writing, but when the sun comes out she’s usually playing in the woods, a creek, river, or lake.
She spends her free time with family, JoJo (her dog), and Simi (her cat who behaves more like a dog than the dog does).

Very different than I was expecting. The long paragraphs and chapters bothered me at first but I got used to them. My heart hurt and the beginning of the story as Poppy was going through a major ending in her life.

I'm glad she got the chance to move on and rediscover herself. Strong characters, storyline, and proof the happy endings do happen.

I read this as part of the boxset. I think I am in the minority on this book. I am disappointed. It felt rushed and just pieces and parts slapped together. I did enjoy getting to see those moments that Gretchen had shared with Toby that had been missed in the previous books. Yet, I still felt like the story between her and Kane was shorted.

I'm rounding this book up to a three just because of the epilogue that gives this series a look into the future to see that things were finally at show more peace. I did like the tie in of what was special of that particular day at the grave. I thought it a nice touch. show less

This book had been on my TBR for awhile. I'm regretting not having read it sooner. Fantastic story, characters, and message about understanding how actions and words hurt more than physical. There is healing here and a message that a lot of people, including myself, should take heed of.

The conclusion left me a little confused. I think I know who it was but I'm not 100% sure. I'm hoping it will come out in a later book of this series.

I read this as part of the Boxset. I struggled with this book. There was just something about Anna that had bothered me since the first book. She seemed too much of a princess without a real care in the world. I had to put aside the fact that she was, in fact, young. Then I could take her a little better. I felt bad for Evan. They treated him like crap when he was just as much, if not more so, innocent in how Anna wound up pregnant. After all, she knew what MC life was like and had show more been warned. I didn't like how he behaved on his wedding day but I am thinking I would have gotten rip-roaring blackout drunk too, just not taking it to the extreme he did.

By the end of the story, I was okay with this story and how it ended.
