Except for a big error near the beginning, a not unreasonable book to review the rituals and story of Passover. Photographs of people get dated faster than drawings do. Rhyming riddles, several lines long, teach about the holiday; the answers on the following page have additional comments.

I won't complain that the book lacks genius, but what's with this sentence: "When the Egyptian king wouldn't free the Jews, God had the Jews mark their doors with blood from a roasted lamb before sending show more ten plagues as punishment." No, blood on the doorposts was done before the ninth plague and after the first eight. I always wonder if this sort of mistake is from the editor "fixing" things or the author. show less
