Oh My Gosh. Where to start. I received this book in exchange for my honest review, and little did I know how completely I would fall in love with these adventures. I often love many of the books I read, but every now and then a certain book or series will kindle a little fire in my soul with its delicious wonderfulness. The Adventures of Geraldine Woolkins is such a book. I loved the characters. I cherished the descriptions Miss Kaufman used to describe places and things. Words that, show more although not what humans would say, left you knowing exactly what the animals were referring to. But most of all, I love how Miss Kaufman delicately and effortlessly wove the message of faith into each chapter. He description of God as Very Big Hands is a beautiful image and one I will think of often. Since my review copy was an e-version, I without a doubt will be purchasing a hard copy to hold in my hands and read over and over. It is my sincerest wish that further adventures will be forthcoming in the near future. Rock on Miss Kaufman; you have been blessed with an extraordinary writing talent! show less
If you picked this book up for a heartwarming Christmas tale filled with sugar cookies and little elves, you're not going to get it. What you are going to get, is a great book filled with action, suspense, and a tinge of romance. Follow along and sit on the edge of your seat as spunky Anna Denning is unceremoniously swept away into the mystery of The Witch Tree.

It was supposed to be a simple job. Research Susan Muncy's family tree. But only the female lineage. Deliver it personally and get show more paid. What she didn't bargain for was being the first to happen upon a dead body. That of Susan Muncy herself.

The action fast and enjoyable, the writing easy to follow, and the plot just right, Karin Kaufman is a force to be reckoned with. If this is her debut novel, watch out all you cozy mystery lovers, you're going to have a new favorite. My advice to you readers? Make sure you have a whole day to read set aside as you will not want to put it down. My advice for Ms. Kaufman? Write faster - you have whetted our appetites for good mysteries, and we want more!

I adored this book! I chose it because I thought it would be fun to read a cozy mystery with a fairy involved. I love fairies. Happily I was right. This charming book was highly entertaining for me. I like Kate and Emily. They work well as friends, neighbors and sleuths. My favorite character, though, was Minette, the fairy. They mystery was well done. It actually involved an earlier unsolved case with a new case. I was kept guessing! I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.

Beautiful storytelling

Extremely well written, sweet and old-fashioned in the very best of ways, this story reminded me of classics like Pooh in his Hundred Acre Woods, or the children's TV series, Little Bear. Like those stories, this story is not just for youngsters but would interest children of all ages. I could really picture it as an animated film too! A charming autumn and winter adventure.
