Although a bit graphic occasionally, the story was amazing and I really liked the depth of the main character. Very well written and a great read.
The story is about a young warrior woman who makes her way in a world of warfare. She has her ability to immerse into the fight like a fury, making her unbeatable. But in spite of her virtue she is like other women, finding love.

This book is built around a fresh and compelling idea I haven't come across yet: humans can control dinosaurs with their minds. Maybe the mental symbiosis would fit better, since the dinos have their own will, still they obey commands from their human mates.

I have to show more admit, I was lost first, and it took a while to understand who is who and what is happening. There is a complex world of tribes and ranks.

People who are into books with dragons will like this book, since dinos are similar in a way. They even come in more varieties having different capabilities.

Good Book. I enjoyed the story about a young girl with a lot of empathy for other people, even though she is a warrior, commander and gifted with the ability to kill very well. The book even has a bit of a love story for the romantic in us all.

Get this book, I think most people would enjoy it. Be aware there are a very small number of graphic love scenes and blood scenes.

Probably for the PG-13 or above crowd.
This book was....different. I get the idea and I think I understand the world in which the characters live but it's a strange world. Not everything is explained and some parts of the book are very simple and straightforward but others are overly detailed. I think if the author used the actual names of the dinos then it would be easier to tell them apart.

This one took a bit to get through and I'm still not fully sure how I feel about it.... so if you are going to try it out, best of luck to you.
