This would be considered by modern standards to be an "outdated" book, however, given that the language used focuses on the internet rather than hardware, this is actually an excellent resource for young students who are interested in Web development.
The book give a brief but effective review of HTML (primary language of the internet), which is both accessible and relevant to today's students.

My only complaint about this book is that it is a bit outdated. It would probably fair much better show more as an eBook. That way it would benefit from updates to its source.

That aside, this is a great book that introduces the basics of the web and website development. To that end, the big idea is clarity and it succeeds. show less
