Most of this book is a gallery of artists' shrines, which is nice for ideas but not helpful for how-to. The author herself uses foamcore and illustrates some very helpful techniques for making the basic box for the shrine, including making doors and drawers.
Later: on another look I realized that she's most probably skipping steps that would be crucial for getting the shrine to stay together for very long.
