This is a decent cartoon collection spoiled by an insane designer who apparently grew up on a deserted island somewhere and has never actually read a book, but only heard them described.

The covers of this book are 1/8 inch cardboard, and the binding is standard paperback glue. The combination produces a book so flimsy I would be quite surprised if it survives more than three readings.

Andrews McMeel has insulted its customers by producing such an impractical product.

The cartoons are good, though.
Man oh man, do I love me some Bizarro. Next to Gary Larson, Dan Piraro is my favorite single-panel cartoonist, and this collection of his full color Sunday funnies does not disappoint. Piraro goes the extra mile with this collection, hand-picking his favorite strips, placing them in chronological order, and including notes below each one regarding the strip's creation, reader reaction, and anything else that comes to his mind. Ever wonder about the strange symbols continuously appearing in show more his Bizarro strip? Piraro tells all! A must for any Bizarro collection. show less
There isn't much you can say about Dan Piraro and his Bizarro comic strip except that you must read it. Bizarro is right up there with The Far Side as some of the funniest one-panel comics you will ever read. That's it. Review done. Go and read it already.
