I love this series. :)

Okay, so I had the honor of beta reading this book, and I enjoyed it just as much reading it now that it's been published.

Claire is one tough cookie, and Victor struggles between giving in to his inner monster and holding on to his humanity. Together, they fight nasties. This story's longer than the first one in the series, but they're both quick reads. (At least for me. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that the setting hooks you, draws you in, and I'm show more dying to know what happens next.) show less

I had a hard time putting this one down, because it immediately drew me in and I wanted to keep reading to see what happened next. The setting is post-apocalyptic, which I don't usually do but I'm glad I bought it. My only criticism is that I wanted more! I'm hoping there'll be more in this setting.
