A huge, rip-roaring zombie apocalypse story, filled with cinematic characters and a wild Homeland Security cover-up plot. Although predictable in spots, the characters and the story were enough to keep me reading to the interesting end.

This was a new take on the zombie apocalypse. A very interesting read that keep me entertained. Can't wait for the sequel. With that said: 1. I could've done without the recap of two storylines in the middle of the book and 2. I could've done without all the cheesy one-liners that sounded like they were straight out of an action hero movie. Even with all the cliches in the book, the storyline was entertaining enough that I was able to overlook them. I just wish so many novelists would quit show more writing books with so many cliches thrown in. It's like they're trying to hard to catch a screenwriters attention. show less
