The ambiguity of the title "Broken for Life" reflects the twin themes of this book: broken for the rest of life and broken in order to give life. It examines living with wounds that won't mend (quickly) and the healing that the wounded me bring. It discusses situations where there may not a happy ending and ends with a consideration of the role of brokenness.
What a great idea, and beautifully realised. So many marvellous poems in here!
