This is a beautiful and under-appreciated book about what the sky does. Personifying the sky as the protagonist of the story, this book suggests that the sky does everything from tickle the toes of baby bears to hold up every word that has ever been spoken. It is a book to enchant and extend the minds of young readers. I could not recommend this book more highly for families or teachers seeking to explore language and art in new ways.

This is a lovely, gentle book with imaginative illustrations. The message is very good - be yourself and find joy in creativity and uniqueness. The watercolor art is beautiful.

Cute story and illustrations. My only complaint was that the text is a little on the long side--for example, it's not until the 10th spread that the main character's problem crops up.

One of my all-time favorites (from my son's childhood). Outstanding art, great concept.
