Appealing at first glance. It's a hardcover book, but after looking critically through it, that seems to be it' main strength. It has lots of illustrations, but they turn out to be mostly decorative, not instructive. And since the drawings are not clearly labeled, causes me some confusion. Some of the critical material such as diseases are passed over with too little information. This is not a book I would recommend.
If you want to learn about beekeeping fast, then this is the book for you. The book is small yet so full of such good information on beekeeping and the illustrations are great too.
