This is a short and easy read, but there were just too many little things that I found really detracted from my enjoyment of the story. The main character is incredibly shallow (and also a bit predatory) with no real redeeming qualities of any kind. There are multiple references to 'straight acting' or 'gay looking' gays (I personally take big issue with those concepts and find them demeaning and self-oppressing) and random throwaway descriptors that are unnecessary (the author takes time to show more tell us that two characters - one whom we never see - are overweight and presents it in a clearly negative, or at least inferior light). The intimate scenes themselves aren't poorly written, but they also demonstrate a level of superficiality that seems to be an unintentional theme of the book.
I was on the fence between 1 and 2 stars for a while, but ultimately I wouldn't recommend this to anyone so 1 star it is.

What a fun read this was. It took me a while to figure out the names of the University (Pauer Bautam) if I recall correctly, and the similar dorm names. Great writing and a realistic-but-not-too-realistic gay persons college life. And the sex in every chapter helps move the story along very nicely.
