About the Author
Merl Reagle was born in Audubon, New Jersey on January 5, 1950. Shortly before turning 16, he became the youngest person ever to sell a puzzle to the New York Times. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in journalism. He spent three years as a copy editor for the Arizona Daily show more Star before moving to California. He wrote about TV trivia for game shows including The Home Shopping Game and Couch Potatoes. In 1985, he became the creator of the weekly crossword puzzle for the San Francisco Examiner and then for the Chronicle. He became the crossword creator for The Washington Post in 2008. He died after an attack of acute pancreatitis on August 22, 2015 at the age of 65. (Bowker Author Biography) show less

This was just delightful. Merl has a unique sense of humor and makes solving fun. I've probably done some of these puzzles before, but am not consistent in downloading them online and I never remember puzzles anyway.
