Found this quite compelling to watch. There are some questions from different parties as to the veracity of the story so I'm not labelling this as fiction or non-fiction, I had known some of the bald outlines of this, that Wonder Woman was created by a professor from a college who wanted a good rolemodel for girls and women as most of the women in comics up to that point were plot tokens or background. He wanted a strong woman character and he created one. His personal life was apparently show more complicated and there are bondage elements in some of the stories. However it did come from a period of time where routine physical punishment was regarded as normal, advertising features women being put over the lap of a man, films also featured this as normal; however this was a woman putting women over her lap and men as well. A subversion of norms which opened up questions.

It's interesting but I'm not sure I'd watch it more than once.

Sultry crime boss Lucy Diamond (Jordana Brewster, The Fast and the Furious) is back in the states and the D.E.B.S.- an elite team of paramilitary college co-ed superspies- are hot on her trail. But when their top agent, gorgeous Amy Bradshaw (Sara Foster, The Big Bounce), mysteriously disappears after coming face to face with the attractive young villainess, the D.E.B.S. begin a full-scale search for Lucy's secret lair, never suspecting that Amy may not want to be rescued after all, in this show more smart and sexy spy spoof about love at first gun sight. show less
